You can do the following to get temporary relief from tooth pain at home –
Stir ½ a teaspoon of salt into a glass of warm water and rinse. You can do this twice or thrice a day.
Dilute 3% hydrogen peroxide with equal parts water and rinse thoroughly. Be careful to not swallow it.
Wrap ice in a towel and hold the painful area for 20-minute periods.
Aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, etc. can be taken to relieve pain. You can take Tylenol if you can’t take the ones mentioned before.

Similar to his colleague, Dr. Backes is committed to continuing education to provide the best and most recent dental care available.
A UoM graduate, Dr. Hanson’s first interest in dentistry came from a desire to work with his hands, eventually falling in love with dentistry through his interaction with patients.
Dr. Hanson stays up-to-date with current dental practices through continuing education. He loves to stay active in his community by volunteering at The Special Olympics and other community events.
